Our Policies
Before scheduling service, you may want to review our POLICIES.

Pre-Visit Consultation / 1st Time Registration
Every new client will require a pre-visit consultation. There is no fee for the consultation. The pre-visit provides the pet care giver, the client, and the pet(s) an opportunity to meet. At this time, the service contract will be reviewed and signed, the new client will pay in advance for pet sitting services. We will also provide the client with a lock box in which to place TWO keys for us to enter the home. (Extra key is in case of accidental lock out.) Lock box has client's personal combination and can be changed at any time for added security.

Pet Sitting Visits
Angel Pet Sitters provides professional, reliable care for your pets, in your home, while you are away. No more feeling guilty about not spending enough quality time with your pets when you are working overtime or going on countless business trips. We offer you peace of mind that your pets will be well taken care of, in your pet's familiar home environment, when you are at work, on business trips, or on vacation. Our services provide an alternative to boarding or kenneling, so that your pet may remain in the comfort, security, and familiarity of his or her own home. Angel Pet Sitters offers services for all types of pets (even some exotics!). We provide a 20-30 minute visit to feed, water, brush, exercise and cuddle pets of all types. Pet sitting services are available 365 days a year, including holidays.  We will customize any service to meet you and your pet's individual needs.

Dog Walking & Midday Breaks
Dog walking and midday breaks are an excellent alternative to doggie daycare! If your dog is not particularly social, or if your dog has been turned down by a daycare because it is not spayed or neutered, we can help! It is a well-known fact that dogs need activity in order to dispel boredom and help prevent destructive behavior. A nice, long dog walk or a fun-filled midday break chasing a ball in the backyard can be just as beneficial to your dog as a day at a doggie daycare. We provide several options for daytime dog walks so that your dog(s) can get the exercise they need while you are away. For most clients, we recommend a 20 minute walk; however, please call us to discuss dog walking options based on breed, age, health and exercise requirements of your dog. We will walk your dog in the area that you specify, clean up after him or her if necessary, and feed and/or water at your request. Mid-day dog walking occurs Monday-Friday between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. Additionally, we offer midday breaks for those who work long hours and need someone to let their dogs out for exercise and to relieve themselves. Midday breaks, like dog walks, involve approximately 20 minutes of activity, with a cool-down period of 5-10 minutes afterwards. (A good time for us to give lots of hugs and praise!)

Please note that our daily dog walking services will not be available on the following holidays for the year 2007, in order to accommodate our vacation visit clients: New Year's Day, Jan. 1; Easter Sunday, April 8; Memorial Day, May 28; Fourth of July; Labor Day, Sept. 3; Veteran's Day, Nov. 11, Thanksgiving holiday, Nov. 22-23; and Christmas holiday, Dec. 24-25.

Overnight Visits / Home Sitting
If you would like even more extensive and personalized attention for your pets (for a new puppy, for instance, or an elderly pet), we offer overnight visits / home sitting. These visits offer the advantage of having someone staying in your house while you are away, instead of leaving your home unattended. The overnight visit includes an evening and morning walk (if desired) and feeding.

Pet Taxi
We offer a pet taxi service to chauffeur your pet(s) to and from the groomer, the vet, obedience training, pet daycare, or other locations. See our rates for more information, or call us for a custom quote.

Errands & Additional Pet-Sit Time
Our hourly rate for running errands or scheduling additional time for each visit is $30, billable in fifteen minute increments. An errand charge applies for additional requested services, or other services we determine to be a necessity during your absence (e.g., replenishing an exhausted supply of pet food). Our hourly rate for emergencies (e.g., emergency or urgent veterinary care, storm damage, etc.) is $40, also billable in fifteen minute increments.

Short Notice Booking (only applies to holidays and busy periods)
If a client contacts us less than 72 hours (3 days) prior to the date and time of the first scheduled visit, a charge equal to that of one visit is assessed for the short notice booking. Please note that we are often booked weeks in advance, so the existence of this short notice booking fee in no way guarantees our availability. In addition, new client relationships require much more advanced notice to accommodate mail delays, scheduling of a "Pre-Visit Consultation" interview, etc.

FREE Services!
Each of our home visits includes the following at NO EXTRA CHARGE:

• Exterior and interior home check (in case of security issues, etc.)
• Mail, package, and dry cleaning collection
• Newspaper collection
• Flier & circular collection
• Basic pet clean-up -- litterboxes, pet food dishes, etc.
• Indoor potted plant care
• Security enhancement (alternate lights, radio, blinds, etc.)
• Carefully completed pet sitter notes
• Pet waste removal for DAILY clients--ask for details!
