Payment Methods
Methods of payment for services include: cash and personal checks and PayPal.
- For regularly scheduled mid-day visits (daily dog walking / puppy visits / medication / mid-day potty breaks), payment is due weekly on Friday (or the last day scheduled for the week). This payment is due in advance for the next week's visits. Discounts for daily dog walks are given if client pays for 20 visits in advance, and visits must be used consecutively (no skipped visits unless due to illness or emergency).

For established clients, payments for out-of-town visits (vacations / business trips / short-term hospital stays) must be made in advance. (Clients in good standing may obtain permission to leave a check for the pet sitter to pick up on the first visit.)

For new clients, payments for out-of-town visits (vacations / business trips / short-term hospital stays) must be made in advance of service, no exceptions.

For all other services (pet taxi, errands, etc.) payment is due in advance.

If adding extra visits due to extended travel time, payment must be made by credit or debit card through PayPal. Clients in good standing may, with permission, mail payment, but we must receive it within 3 days of their return.

Once your account has been established, you will need to verify it. This takes a few days, as PayPal will make one or two small deposits to your bank account, and you will need to give PayPal the amounts of the deposits in order to verify your account. Once verified, your account is ready to use.
**You will be charged a 3% convenience fee in order for APS to accept credit card payments through PayPal. APS will not accept PayPal payments for less than $200. PayPal payments must be made at least ONE WEEK PRIOR to the start of pet sitting visits.
