ABOUT US

A resident of Springdale, Arkansas, Leslie Ray founded Angel Pet Sitters in June of 2000. Her vision was to provide Northwest Arkansas with an alternative to boarding kennels for discerning pet owners.

Because she has her own family of pets, she has long been concerned with the ethical treatment of animals. She is dedicated to the same mission as the ASPCA, which promotes humane principles, the prevention of cruelty to, and the alleviation of fear, pain and suffering in animals.

Leslie Ray is a co-founder and board member of For Pets Sake, in Springdale, Arkansas. For Pets Sake is a tax-exempt non-profit animal welfare organization which benefits the pets and community of Northwest Arkansas. Angel Pet Sitters donates money to For Pets Sake and other animal welfare organizations in NWA. We believe in helping the animals in any way we can. Leslie is also a very active volunteer, and encourages her clients and the community to volunteer as well! Another organization founded by Leslie is LAPPS (League of Arkansas Professional Pet Sitters). LAPPS was started as a way for Arkansas professional pet sitters to network.
